I started Cassandra’s Mind & Body class with my Border Collie, Dance after an illness left her with a significant decrease in her muscle conditioning. My goal was to attend for 2-3 months to improve her overall condition to prepare her for a return to agility. I did meet those goals but here’s the thing, I was hooked!!! Absolutely love the classes!
Over a year and half later, I still attend classes weekly. Cassandra is so very knowledgeable about canine anatomy and conditioning, that I trust her completely. And the classes are creative and fun! Who knew canine conditioning would include so many laughs! My dog is conditioned, confident on equipment, willing to offer behaviors and as an added benefit, now knows a lot more tricks. Always positive, the classes have taught me many new skills and allowed me to strengthen my relationship with Dance. Dance works and plays at class with great enthusiasm. She loves the guided massage at the end of class.
Just cannot say enough good things about the benefits of the Mind & Body classes!!

Cassandra’s helpful hints and common sense training techniques help make for a perfectly well behaved dog!!! Hands down saved us from a very high energy, hard to handle puppy. We are super social and take Remi everywhere with us. We now do it with pride! She does everything we ask, from placing her on a mat, to walking by our side, to sitting under a table at a restaurant and she’s a puppy! We get the most compliments and are enjoying her so much. Cassandra’s Canines – Not just obedience!
Cassandra’s Canines Inc. offers a wide variety of sport, training and fitness activities for your canine companion in a beautiful facility just outside Caledonia.
I have two very different dogs participating in activities I didn’t even know existed before I stumbled across Cassandra’s website when I was looking for something fun to do with my Daisy and saw her Dancing with her dogs! We have had a lot of fun over the last few years in Rally FrEe, Musical Freestyle, Trick Training, Agility, Treibball, and Mind & Body Conditioning.
Cassandra practices only positive reinforcement training. She is very knowledgeable and observant (sometimes too observant). She gives great personal feedback for the handler and their specific dog’s needs. If that doesn’t work, she tries something else and then something else.
I strongly recommend Cassandra’s Canines whether you have a performance sport dog, a new puppy or just want to have fun with your dog in a top notch facility with an amazing trainer.

I’ve been taking classes with Cassandra for 5 years in obedience, Rally FrEe, Musical Freestyle and Agility. Her ability to read and adjust the training for each dog truly is a talent. Her small class sizes ensures each dog and person gets individual attention. She truly is a highly skilled, knowledgeable positive trainer. To top it off her classes are FUN.
